011O11O COUNCIL IWETING HELD JANUARY 26, 1976 <br />P-•-ie 7 <br />Henry 11uhich, Building & Zoning Administrator, <br />informed the City Council that Mr. Peter Fox <br />Mis representing fir. Rogers in his request for <br />two variances on the property located at 1410 <br />Bolin's Point Road. <br />The lot area and width variances were approved <br />over one year ago with several conditions. Iie <br />is now requesting a similar variance but has <br />added the request for a variance from the rear <br />yard setback requirement. Several parties have <br />shown an interest in purchasing the-roperty if <br />the existing barn -garage is located ly 24' <br />from the rear lot line. <br />The old house shown on the survey has been <br />piartically razed, however, hazardous conditions <br />do exist as much of the debris has been left <br />on the site and the existing excavation is <br />unprotected. fir. Fox has been informed that <br />this proposal wox.zld be deferred iinti.l these <br />conditions are corrected. <br />Planning Commission Meeting - January 5, 1976 <br />The Commission directed that a copy of the <br />Jay Decker letter be submitted to the Village <br />council. The Commission made a Tr.--)tion that <br />lir. Fox, agent for Fred Rogers, Jr., he <br />informed that because of the applicant's lack <br />of represe.itation and because the hazardous <br />conditions at the property site had not })v vn <br />corrected, the petition be tabled. <br />Zoning Administrator - January 12, 1976 <br />The applicant has again been reminded to resolve <br />the problem of debris and hazardous excavation. <br />Planning Conunissi.on .Ie-tinrr - January 19, 1976 <br />.he Planning Commission took no action. The <br />debris and excavation problem is not yet resolved. <br />VARIANCE <br />1410 Bohn`s Point Roau <br />Henry rluhich, Building & Zoning Administrator, VARIANCE <br />informed the City Council that Mr. Johnson is 1376 Park Drive <br />requesting variances from lot area and rear set- <br />back requirements. This area is zoned LR-lB which <br />. t fiuires one acre (43,560 sq. ft. ) area and a <br />rear yard setback of 30'. <br />This lot ,i less than 11,900 sq. ft. and the <br />kwtear yard setback would require a 20' variance <br />(2/3 of the requirement). I would recommend <br />denial because of the extreme non -conformities <br />and although sewer does exist in the area, this <br />parcel was never assessed a unit charge.
