Outlet A uwn::d by I;iner cuuld hove a <br />maximum of 3 boat slips, and John Burger's outlot could <br />have a maximum of 4 beat s lips fused on LMC:D stanciari of <br />50 feet lineal footage of shoreline per boat slip. <br />Mary Lou Swenson, representing Hazel Anderson of 3780 <br />Bayside Rd. - voiced concern regarding a lakeside <br />ease_,ment remaining unchanyeu. <br />Zoning Administrator Mabusth stated that the area Ms. <br />Swenson was referring to was a platted unimproveu right- <br />of-way owned by the City and rot included in this <br />application. <br />Mr. 6 Mrs. Curtis Levang, 4010 Bayside Road South - L"Ir. <br />Levang voiced their opposition to the proposal stating <br />that they moved to Orono for its rural, uncongested <br />lifestyle where five acre zoning ensured the lifestyle <br />they wanted. lie asked the City to uphold the originial <br />intent of the law as it sought to protect the City of <br />Orono. <br />Steve Gardiner, 3770 Bayside Road - stated he was <br />opposed to the proposal because he wished to preserve <br />the rural environment of the area and that the proposal <br />may create an additional roa,l surrounding his property <br />by roads on three sites. He urged the City to have an <br />environmental study of the impact to Lake i•Iinnetonka <br />dune . <br />Gary Connell, 4355 Bayside Roa. - state.: tie owned 12-3/4 <br />acres and was o?posed to the proposal because he bought <br />this property anA built his h,)me in this area because of <br />the rural low density area. He stated that he was in <br />favor of development within the existing guidelines. lie <br />noted that his property will overlook all the proposed <br />new properties. In a�ditiori, he noted that the need for <br />smaller lots is not present. Mr. Connell submitted a <br />petition witn approximately 60 signatures opposing the <br />rezoning proposal. He also submitted a graphic summary <br />reyariing the petitiun response. <br />John Burger, 3750 Bayside Rd. - stated that he bought <br />his lane] in hopes for his fUtUL _ family to reside near <br />him. tie stated that he has always wantad to build a <br />home on the nurth enJ "Sumac Hill* of his property <br />however access was not possible, noting that this <br />rezoning project would create an access tj allow him to <br />build a new home on Sumac Hill. <br />2 <br />
