MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL [MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 23, 1987 <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />CONTINUED <br />-Judy Brown, <br />explain to <br />background. <br />Stubbs Bay Road, asked the Council to <br />the public their individual educational <br />Councilmember Goetten attended Chandler school in <br />Boston, went to Harvard night school for 5 years, <br />and has taken a number of different accredited <br />classes at the University continuing education. <br />Councilmember Sime is a graduate of the University <br />of Minnesota in Business Administration. He owns a <br />small manufacturing company. He has a background in <br />lance development, homebuil_ding, and construction & <br />operation of golf courses. <br />Mayor Grabek is involved with a health care company <br />that. started in May 1983. He has a Bachelors degree <br />in Marketing and a Masters degree in Business. <br />Councilmember Peterson has a degree in Economics <br />from the University of Alaska. She currently works <br />as an Administrative Assistant in Edina involving <br />stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and financial planning. <br />Councilmember Callahan attended Blake High School, <br />Georgetown University, and Harvard Law School. He <br />practiced law with his father and grandfather, and <br />thereafter joined the law firm of Gray Plant. He <br />has lived in the area for about 20 years. <br />Ms. Brown asked Councilmember Goetten if she felt <br />someone interested in serving on the Council could have <br />too much of an educational background that may serve as <br />a threat to the other members. <br />Councilmember Goetten stated she co4ldn't imagine that <br />ocurring. <br />Gabriel Jabbour, 780 Tonkawa Road, wanted to put the <br />Council on notice that he wished to address the Council <br />on some of the agenda issues to be discussed later. <br />Mayor Grabek assured <br />be willing to hear <br />agenda issues. <br />Mr. Jabbour that the Council would <br />any public comments regarding the <br />I <br />
