.OUKil MEETING <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD <br />ATTENDANCE 7:01 <br />CONSENT AGENDA* <br />1 OATH OF OFFICE <br />1R 1 '987 <br />FEBRUARY 23, 1987 <br />' R NO <br />P.M. <br />The Orono Council met on the above elate with the <br />following members present: Mayor Grabek, Councilmembers <br />Sime, Goet'en, and Peterson. The following represented <br />the City staff: City Administrator Bernhardson, Public <br />Works Coordinator Gerhardson, City Clerk Hallin, <br />Building & Zoning Administrator Mabusth, and City <br />Recorder Peterson. City Attorney Blatz was also <br />present. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Goetten, to approve the Consent Agenda* <br />Subject to removal of the following: <br />Item #3 - Minutes of February 9, 1987 <br />Item #26 - Volunteer Rocognition <br />Item #31 - Shardlow Letter of Agreement <br />Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />City Clerk Hallin administered the oath of Office to <br />Edward Callahan appointing him Councilmember. <br />Councilmember Goetten asked for clarificatior. Legarding <br />the motion made in the Vogt/Hilbelink zoning <br />application. City Administrator Bernhardson explained <br />and no changes were made. <br />Councilmember Goetten requested to amend the motion made <br />in the Alternate Attorney Appointmeat to read: <br />"to table the appointment of Alternate Attorney <br />until the February 23rd Council meeting." <br />it was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Goetten, to approve the Minutes of the <br />February 9, 1987 Council meeting as amended. Motion, <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />-John Hollander, 200 Hollander Road, asked about the <br />status of control ling the speed on County Road 6 west of <br />Ferndale as he requested at the last Counci 1 meeting. <br />He noted he has not seen any enforcement. <br />Mayor Grabek stated he has seen the Orono Police <br />monitoring the area. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson noted that Chief Kilbo <br />has indicated that they are patrolling the area. <br />
