DELIVERED ON JANUARY 12, 1987 <br />In 1977 and early 1978 James Lawrence developed Ta -lewood, <br />a rL al residential development in the City of Orono. As part of <br />the subdivision approval, Mr. Lawrence was required to provide <br />access by a private r-ad and was required to obtain permission <br />from Hennepin County for access onto County Road 6. These <br />requirements were embodied in Paragraph 3 of the Resolution <br />approving the preliminary plat: <br />"NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVFn. that based upon all of the <br />information presented by the ay `_cant and reports by the <br />City staff, consultants and the i'lannir.g Commission, tre <br />City Council of the City of Orono hereby approves thn <br />preliminary nlat for James Lawarence with the followiny <br />changes and requirements and conditions: <br />3. Access shall be by a private road developed wit -.in <br />a 50 ft. wide r_:.q',`---of-way with an underlying access <br />easement de4icateu Lo the City and with the location <br />approved by the Hennepin County Public Works Department." <br />Mr. Lawrence received permissio:. _rom Hennepin County in <br />December, 1977, and the 22 inot private road constructed <br />pioviaing access to the lots that :cr( -ubsequently developed. <br />
