9-12-86 (REVISOR j PER/JP 87-0064 <br />1 A bill for an act <br />2 relating to the Lake Minnetonka conservation district; <br />3 compensation and powers of board members; tax levy; <br />4 amending Laws 1967, chapter 906, sections 2, <br />5 subdivision 2, as amended; 3, as amended; and 5, as <br />6 amended. <br />7 <br />8 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />9 Section 1. Laws 1967, chapter 906, section 2, subdivision <br />10 2, as amended by Laws 1969, chapter 272, section 1, is amended <br />11 to read: <br />12 Subd. 2. (LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION DISTRICT.] The lake <br />13 conservation district shall be governed by a board composed of <br />14 members elected by the governing bodies of the municipalities <br />15 included in the district. Each municipality shall elect one <br />16 member. The term of office of each member shall be three <br />17 years. Each board member shall be compensated at a rate of $50 <br />18 per day for each day spent attending meetings of the board and <br />19 for other services specifically authorized by the board, and <br />20 shall be reimbursed for all reasonable expenses incurred in the <br />21 performance of A -ies as a board member as determined by the <br />22 board. <br />23 Sec. 2. Laws 1967, chapter 906, section 3, as amended by <br />24 Laws 1969, chapter 272, section 2, is amended to read: <br />25 Sec. 3.
