Cited among tue reasons was the large concern for
safety as it relates to the preser location.
Issues that the staff has raised related to this relocation are
as follows:
- Safety
- Cost
- Financing
- Impact on property
- Public sa _ty access
- Access to Hamm property
Public Works Coordinator Gerhardson and City L, neer Glenn Cook
reviewed the site on Octoher 31, 1. 86 and base an that drew up a
preliminary design on which costs are based. The concern
regarding this are the soils that exist on the site. Based on
soil conditions at the feasibility study stage may dictate
relocation -.t a less costly cohfiguration than presently
proposed.
Should Council deem this a prudent item to undertake and should
the property owners agree to finance the project the following
are recommended as a course of events to alter the access.
...,40
1
