10 -- 29 6 <br />10--29-6 <br />3 <br />(A) Option A - Wall Signs: <br />LM <br />1. Under Option A only wall signs shall be allowed. The maximum number of <br />signs on any principal building shall be two (2), and in all cases, each sign shall <br />be placed on a separate wall (frontage). The maximum size of wall signs under <br />Option A shall be as specified in the following schedule indicating the <br />maximum allowable sign area based on the percentage of the gross silhouetted <br />area of the front of the building. <br />2. When a building faces two (2) or more streets, the total allowed sign area <br />shall be based upon the gross silhouetted area of the two (2) smaller building <br />sides facing streets. No building side may have signage in excess of the signage <br />allowed for the side of the building based upon the gross silhouette area of that <br />building side. <br />3. For multiple occupancy buildings. each tenant may have one business sign, <br />but the total area shall not exceed that allowed under Option A. In the event <br />there are two (2) or more tenants in a building, the budding owner shall <br />prescribe a :,ign criteria distributing the proposed signs to the tenants. <br />4. Signs may be placed nn the side of a building not facing a street, but the <br />total sign area on the building shall not exceed that allowed in Option A or as <br />provided in this Section. <br />OPTION A, WALL SIGN ONLY <br />a <br />b c <br />B-1 24 sq. <br />ft. <br />or 12% up to 200 sq. <br />ft. <br />B-2 50 sq. <br />ft. <br />or 16% up to 200 sq. <br />ft. <br />B-3 100 sq. <br />ft. <br />or 18% up to 250 sq. <br />ft. <br />1-1 125 sq. <br />ft. <br />or 20% up to 300 sq. <br />ft. <br />1-2 125 sq. <br />ft. <br />or 20% up to 300 sq. <br />ft. <br />a. Sign areas exceeding maximum shown in column c, but 'ess than <br />area allowed in column b hereof may be allowed by conditional use <br />permit. <br />Option B - Wall and Pylon Signs: <br />1. Under Option B, wall signs and pylon signs or both may be used; however, <br />not more than one pylon sign may be used. The maximum allowable sign area <br />for any wall sign shall be as specified in the following schedule, indicating the <br />allowable sign area for the total pylon sign and wall sign based on the silhouette <br />area of the building (column a) hereof. <br />1282 <br />
