Motion, Ayes [101, Nays [0]. <br />%XECUTIVE COMMITTEE: Rascop reported that representatives from <br />three firms who have submitted proposals for the Lake Management <br />Study were interviewed by the committee. The committee recommended <br />that the low bid of $6,700 be accepted. <br />The committee reviewed the gee -ral liability and umbrella insurance <br />INSURANCE <br />policies. Upon advice that !..rie basic liability policy has been <br />REVIEW <br />increased from $300,000 to $1,000,000 over the past few years, the <br />committee determined that the umbrella policy should continue to <br />be pursued. <br />The committee was advised that the legislative revisor's office <br />LEGISLATIVE <br />has not completed the preliminary draft of the LMCD proposed legis- <br />PROGRAM <br />lation, and that it may need to be broken down into several <br />amendments. <br />Upon advice from the Secretary of State that the special liquor <br />law for Lake Minnetonka must be approved by the District and <br />certified before the end of the year or it will sunset at the <br />opening of the 1987 session, the committee recommended that the <br />Board approve and certify the Lake Minnetonka liquor law. <br />The committee reviewed a proposal for sponsoring a public service <br />BWI <br />campaign regarding Lite dangers of boating while intoxicated. The <br />POSTERS <br />committee determined that the matter should be pursued further, <br />not only with posters, but also with possible billboard displays. <br />Board discussion suggested: <br />1. the purchase of 100 posters early next spring (February) at <br />a cost of $400 - $500, with the possibility of a commercial <br />sponsor sharing the cost, <br />
