Motion, Ayes [101, Nays [0]. %XECUTIVE COMMITTEE: Rascop reported that representatives from three firms who have submitted proposals for the Lake Management Study were interviewed by the committee. The committee recommended that the low bid of $6,700 be accepted. The committee reviewed the gee -ral liability and umbrella insurance INSURANCE policies. Upon advice that !..rie basic liability policy has been REVIEW increased from $300,000 to $1,000,000 over the past few years, the committee determined that the umbrella policy should continue to be pursued. The committee was advised that the legislative revisor's office LEGISLATIVE has not completed the preliminary draft of the LMCD proposed legis- PROGRAM lation, and that it may need to be broken down into several amendments. Upon advice from the Secretary of State that the special liquor law for Lake Minnetonka must be approved by the District and certified before the end of the year or it will sunset at the opening of the 1987 session, the committee recommended that the Board approve and certify the Lake Minnetonka liquor law. The committee reviewed a proposal for sponsoring a public service BWI campaign regarding Lite dangers of boating while intoxicated. The POSTERS committee determined that the matter should be pursued further, not only with posters, but also with possible billboard displays. Board discussion suggested: 1. the purchase of 100 posters early next spring (February) at a cost of $400 - $500, with the possibility of a commercial sponsor sharing the cost,
