10286.5 <br />TO: Mayor and City Council p`VI`\ �?D <br />FROM: Mark Bernhardson, City Administrato4 VVV Cyr Y 0a i 4Sz l� <br />DATE: October 2, 1986 <br />SUBJECT: Special Assessment Refunds Due on Prepaid Sanitary Sewer <br />Project 85-1, Crystal Bay <br />ISSUE - Repayment to Crystal Bay residents who paid the entire <br />$9,235.00 in advance of the appeals settlement. <br />IN DISCUSSION - Four individuals who were appellants of the <br />assessment have prepaid the entire $9,235 of the assessment. <br />Based on the Court order it is appropriate that the City refund <br />the money to those four individuals in the amounts as follows: <br />Jeffrey B. Anderson $3,486.14 <br />Mrs. Emory (Ruby) H. White $3,486.14 <br />Wayne A. Quast $3,486.14 <br />Olai Hanson $3,486.09 <br />RECOMMENDATION - That staff be given the authority to issue the <br />refund checks to the four individuals listed above. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by _, Orono C'ty <br />Council authorizes staff to issue the refunds to each of the four <br />appellants in the Crystal Bay sanitary sewer project who paid the <br />original assessment prior to the court awarded reduction. Such <br />appellants and amounts are: <br />Jeffrey B. Anderson $3,486.14 <br />Mrs. Emory (Ruby) H. White $3,486.14 <br />Wayne A.
