Request for lot area/width variance and City designation of Lot 64 as an independent <br />Record Lot in the RS District. <br />2. Request for after-the-fact lakeshore setback, side setback and hardcover variances for <br />construction of a new seasonal cabin to replace a pre-existing seasonal cabin on the <br />property, and a side setback variance for a gazebo; both cabin and gazebo were <br />constructed on the site without the required building permits. <br />Discussion <br />Please carefully review the memo and exhibits of June 11. The applicants proposed a solution at the <br />Planning Commission meeting which is acceptable to staff and Planning Commission, and which <br />results in no need for setback or hardcover variances, but which requires the redesignation of certain <br />Record Lots on Big Island, and the granting of a lot area variance for the Y aegers. <br />Solution Proposed by Applicant and Recommended by Planning Commission <br />1. Yaeger to acquire Lot 65 for legal combination with Lot 64, such combination <br />to be henceforth designated as Record Lot # 15.
