The fence and shed create no hazards for the pedestrian <br />or vehicular user:. of the roadway. <br />S. The fence or shed will create no lake view problem for <br />surrounding lakeshore lot owners. <br />Approval subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Fence to be rebuilt of the same building material and at <br />the same height - applicant must specify. <br />2. Shed must be rebuilt 10 feet from southern side lot line <br />and at the proposed dimension of 8'x6' but may not exceed 6 <br />feet or 72 inches in height measured from existing c-ade <br />based on elevation of adjacent road bed. <br />August 6, 1986 <br />Additional Co nts and Planning Co®ission Recos endtion: <br />The applicant has revised his original request for <br />premission to replace the entire run of fencing (total of 95 <br />lineal feet) along street side of lakeshore property with 3 h <br />feet high solid cedar fencing. Planning Commission felt <br />applicant's request to rebuild shed using existing foundation was <br />acceptable and recommends grant. side setback variance of 4 <br />feet from shared lot line with C•.1- owned land (south side) <br />finding use of existing foundation will result in less disruption <br />of lakeshore yard area and existing plantings and road <br />elevations, provide screening from lakeshore and roadside at <br />present location. <br />-"he enclose resolution has been drafted per Planning <br />Commission recommendtion. <br />If Council finds the findings of staff and Planning <br />Commission not acceptable because of the danger of establishing a <br />negative precedent in dealing with similar requests and that the <br />findings do not present a unique situation or acceptable hard- <br />ships, direct staff to prepare a resolution of denial for action <br />at your August 25, 1986 meeting. <br />
