Planning Commission felt <br />applicant's request to rebuild shed using existing foundation was <br />acceptable and recommends grant. side setback variance of 4 <br />feet from shared lot line with C•.1- owned land (south side) <br />finding use of existing foundation will result in less disruption <br />of lakeshore yard area and existing plantings and road <br />elevations, provide screening from lakeshore and roadside at <br />present location. <br />-"he enclose resolution has been drafted per Planning <br />Commission recommendtion. <br />If Council finds the findings of staff and Planning <br />Commission not acceptable because of the danger of establishing a <br />negative precedent in dealing with similar requests and that the <br />findings do not present a unique situation or acceptable hard- <br />ships, direct staff to prepare a resolution of denial for action <br />at your August 25, 1986 meeting. <br />
