The proposed projects are located in the upper reaches <br />of the watershed; runoff from this area travels though a series i <br />of swales, ditches, and wetlands before reaching Lake Minnetonka <br />an approximate distance of 1 mile away; the proposed projects <br />are insignificant within the overall watershed and will have no <br />significant effect on the quality or quantity cf runoff water <br />entering Lake Minnetonka. <br />7. The City Council has considered the application including the <br />findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission, reports <br />by staff and comments of the applicant and the effect of the <br />proposed use on the health, safety and welfare of the community. <br />8. The City Council finds that granting a Conditional Use Permit to <br />allow the proposed excavation and construction projects will not <br />be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of the <br />public, iould not adversely affect light, air nor pose a fire <br />hazard or other danger �o neighboring properties, nor will it <br />depreciate surrounding property values and that the proposed , <br />level of use of the property will be in keeping with the in+,ent <br />and objectives of the Zoning Code and Con,prehen.sive Flnn -;f the <br />city, <br />CONCLUSIONS, ORDER AND CONDITIONS <br />Based upon the above findings, the Orono City Council hereby <br />grants a Conditional use Permit per Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.2U, <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
