Since that date, the Wayzata Country <br />Club has applied for and been granted many permits and conditional use <br />permits for structural additions to the property. No conditional. use <br />permits or is for grading/excavating work are known to have been <br />issued anti i 1981. At that time Wayzata Country C1uL was admonished <br />by City staff to apply for an after -the -fact conditional use permit <br />for grading work in a pond near. OId Long Lake Road. That conditional <br />use permit was g,.anted to Wayzata Country Club after a Public Hearing <br />at the Planning Commission meeting of 2/2/81, in which the Planning <br />Commission gave the Wayzata Country Club representative present the <br />impression that this matter could best. be handled by staff and should <br />not need Council review. Pursuant to the. Planning Commission <br />recommendation fer approval of a conditional use permit., the former <br />City Administrator took a telephone poll of the Council and the item <br />appeared on the consent agend,-i , *.he ncxt Council meet-' nR. <br />
