Memo #1014 <br />April 17, 1986 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />Staff Recap ndation <br />Approve a conditional use permit for the temporary overnight camping <br />of work crew at the Big Island Veterans Camp facility for specify period <br />of time providing guidelines for the safe use of that facility during the <br />clean up period defined as covering the following activities: <br />1 - Razing and burning of buildinqs <br />2 - Clean up and burning of debris/brush <br />3 - Locate and determine usability of septic system and well <br />The guidelines for the temporary use of the facility are as follcws: <br />1 - Crew to be limited to'�1 family members and friendz cannot be on <br />camp site for the duration of temporary permit <br />2 - Workers shall use portable gas stoves and charcoal grills for <br />cooking <br />3 - Tenting is allowed only for the overnight campers <br />4 - Septic facilities to be approved by on site septic mgr - Michael <br />Gaf f ron <br />5 - Hazardous buildings not removed are to remain boarded up <br />6 - Fire Extinguishers must be provided on site <br />7 - Garbage collection and temporary water supply shall be provided as <br />follows <br />
