Operational Evolution <br />The renovatiun and reconstruction of the Camp will proceed in three general <br />phases: <br />Phase i - Day and overnight tent camping facilities <br />Phase 2 - Handicapped accessible cabin construction <br />Phase 3 - Operational enhancement <br />Some projects within a given phase may overlap another phase; however, the <br />overall strategy is an orderly evolution of operational capabilities. <br />Reconstruction and Renovation Areas <br />1. Southeast (SE) Area - Point Charming <br />2. Northeast (NE) Area - East of Peanut Row <br />includes Peanut Row latrine site <br />3. North and Central (NC) Area - Includes all old buildings other <br />than Peanut Row and Point Charming <br />latrines <br />4. Dock and Playground (DP) Area - Immediately west and southwest <br />of main pavilion <br />5. Northwest (NW) Area - northwest and west of playground <br />(See attached map 01) <br />Overall Concept <br />Construct r,ew picnic shelters and latrine/shower buildings to support day <br />and overnight tent camping use. Renovate old main dining hall for use as <br />a visitor's center and repair other existing storage buildings as necessary. <br />Construct 15 handicapped accessible cabins in SE area. Expand services and <br />buildings in NE and NW areas if required for additional day, tent or cabin <br />use. <br />Phase One - Scope and Pro.'ects <br />Phase 1 - Day and overnight tent camping facilities <br />This phase provides for the erection of new picnic and bathroom buildings <br />with new septic Lanky and fiefs as camp use increases. This phase also <br />includes renovation of existing buildings. <br />
