213. PRONIBITZD PRACTICRs
<br />1. No person shall knowingly make any false statement,
<br />certificate, mark, rating, or report in regard to any test,
<br />certificate, or appointment held or made under the City's
<br />personnel system or in any manner commit or attempt to commit any
<br />fraud preventing the impartial execution of the provisions of this
<br />policy.
<br />2. No person seeking e-ployment or promotion in the municipal
<br />service shall either directly or indirectly give, render, or pay
<br />any mcney, service, or other valuable consideration to any person
<br />for or in connection with their test, proposed appointment,
<br />promotion or proposed promotion. No person shall either directly
<br />or indirectly solicit, pay, render, receive, or give money,
<br />service or other valuable thing to any person for, or in
<br />connection with any test, appointment, promotion, demotion, layoff
<br />or dismissal.
<br />3. No person in the employment of the City, or seeking admission
<br />thereto, shall be favored or discriminated against in any way 1
<br />because of race, sea, national origin, religion, political I
<br />opinions or affiliations, affection&! preference or handicap
<br />status. Anyone interferring with this policy will face +
<br />disciplinary proceedings including possible discharge.
<br />4. As part of the principal of equal opportunity employment,
<br />the work environment shall be free from sexual harassmont and
<br />intimidation. Such conduct interferes with employee's worn
<br />Performance and creates a hostile or offensive work environment.
<br />Employees are encouraged to report any conduct inconsistent
<br />with this policy. Any employee who conducts him/herself in a
<br />r_anner inconsistent with this policy shall be subject to
<br />disciplinary action, including discharge.
<br />5. No person shall, in any manner, solicit or be in any mariner
<br />concerned with soliciting, an assessment, subscri?tion or
<br />contribution for any person or purpose, from any City employee on ,
<br />City property or on City time without City Administrator's
<br />approval. i
