MINUTES OF THE RECULAII ORONO COUNCIL. MI:E'I'ING HELD JULY 8, 1985. PAGE 9 <br />CABLE TV REPORT <br />For informational purposes, City Administrator Bernhardson <br />submitted his status report dated July 5, 1985 regarding <br />the Cable Franchising Expenditure Refund. <br />MARINA COMMITTEE <br />NEXT MEETING <br />City Administ_ ator Bernhardson stated that the next Marina <br />Committee meeting is scheduled for July 23, 1985 at 4:00 PM. <br />COMPLIANCE ACTION STATUS <br />Council received a summary report dated July 5, 1985 from <br />Zoning Adr:inistrat.or Mabusth, regarding the work done on <br />Chaska Marina and North Shore Drive Marina. Per this report, <br />City Administrator Bernhardson reported that Chaska Marina <br />must f ile for a variance to the Planning rommi ssi.on by July <br />26, 1985. Regarding North Shore Drive Marina, staff <br />requested a setback variance review with 1985 license <br />review. <br />TRANSPORTATION REPORT <br />City Administrator Bernhardson reported that the State <br />Variance Board, that is reveiwing the variance for County <br />Road 15, will be on a bus tour of the area on July 16, 1985 at <br />noon. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />1984 FINANCIAL STATEMENT; <br />AUDITOR'S PRESENTATION <br />F rr-�incc Director Kuehn in-roduced the City's Auditors, from <br />the firm of Pannell, Kerr, Forster, Don Anfinson and Ken <br />Malloy to the Council. <br />Auditor Malloy made his presentation to the Council <br />indicating that the audit opinion is clean and the City is in <br />good condition. He further highlighted the fact that the <br />General Fund is in excellent condition, close budget <br />control, and indications of conservative budget techniques. <br />Auditor ' 'loy reviewed a few recommendations within his <br />t.eport. <br />City A(i strator Bernhardson stated that the Summary of <br />the Finant.ial Statement will be published in the Pioneer as <br />required by the State of Minnesota. <br />HIGHWAY 12 CORRIDOR STUDY <br />A. JOHN SHARDLOW CONTRACT <br />City Administrator bernhardson submitted a revised plan <br />layout from John Shardlow for consideration for the <br />Highway 12 curt idor study. Bernhardson explained that <br />the proposal was revised to enable the staff to assume <br />more responsibiIity in certain areas. Bernhardson <br />requested CounciI's direction on: I)whether the study <br />should done 2he fundi;iq 3ltime frame in which it <br />should be ac•cut l ishcd. <br />
