I'AGf.. 8 <br />After discussion., it was the Councils' desire to have lock <br />boxes as an exception to non -conforming structures, <br />providing they are properly screened from the road and lake <br />and do not exceed 20 square feet in dimensions. <br />Regarding item D. Non -Rental Use of Available Slips at. <br />Residential Docks, it is recommended that any more than two <br />boats tied to one dock must prove ownership. <br />HARDCOVER DISCUSSION <br />City Administrator Bernhardson reviewed his report dated <br />July 3, 1985 regarding hardcover issues. City Admini- <br />strator Bernhardson indicated that he and Zoning <br />Administrator Mabusth will meet with Dr. Hansen of the <br />Freshwater Biological Institute for his input, and will <br />report back to the Council at the August 5th meeting. <br />CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT <br />BID AWARD - OVERLAY MSA <br />WILLOW RD. & OLD CRYSTAL <br />BAY RD. <br />Per City Engineer Cook's letter dated July 5, 1985 listing <br />the bids received, it was recommended to award the contract <br />to the low bidder, Wm. Mueller & Sons, Inc. wil-h a base bid of <br />$232,826.74, contingent upon variance apprcval from MSA. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Adams, to award the contract co Wm. Mueller & <br />Sons, Inc., contingent upon variance approval from MSA. <br />Motion, Ayes (5), Ayes (0). <br />1985 SEAI, COAT BIDS <br />APPROVAL OF PLANS & SPECS <br />City Engineer Cook submitted the Plans and Specs for the 1985 <br />Seal Coating Bids. <br />PARR COMMISSION <br />RESIGNATION <br />It was moved by Mayor Butler, seconded by Councilmember <br />Frahm, to approve the Plans and Specs for the 1985 Seal <br />Coatincl Bids to be opened on July 19, 1985. Motion, Ayes <br />(5), Nays (0). <br />Council reciev%d a letter of resignation f rom Mary Ann <br />Stinson from the Park Commission effective June 22, 19H5. <br />Council directed staff to send a letter to Ms. Stinson, <br />thanking her for hci part.; cipation on the Commission. <br />Earlier this year, there were two vacancies on the Park <br />Commission and three volunteers.
