City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />GENERAL COMMENDATION <br />BARBARA A. PETERSON <br />WHEREAS, on Sunday, April 28, 1985, a burglary was <br />committed at the offices of Dr. Olimann, 2160 West Wayzata <br />Boulevard, in Orono; and <br />WHEREAS, the efforts of Barbara A. Peterson resulted in <br />the arrest and charge of an individual for second degree burglary <br />in connection with the breakin; and <br />WHEREAS, Barbara Peterson provided police with a <br />description of the suspect together with license number and <br />subsequently participated in identifying the suspect in a lineup; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, an alert and cooperative citizenry is essential <br />to maintaining law and order; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono wishes to commend and <br />encourage the involvment of its residents in the overall <br />protection of the community and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of <br />the City of Orono hereby highly commends Barbara Peterson on the <br />above listed actions and express their gratitude that Barbara <br />Peterson is willing to step foreward and be counted protecting <br />Orono and maintaining it as a safe place to live. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota at a regular meeting held May 28, 1985. <br />Mary C.
