r13.6 PRESERVATION OF HISTORICAL OBJECTS <br />13.6.1 Where historical objects of potential archeological or paleonto- <br />logical nature are discovered within the areas on which the Contractor's <br />operations are in progress, the Contractor shall restrict or suspend his <br />operations in the immediate area of the discovery as may be necessary to <br />preserve the discovered objects until the Owner has made arrangments for their <br />disposition or has recorded the desired data relative thereto. <br />13.6.2 The Contractor <br />shall immediately notify the Owner of any historical <br />objects he may discover <br />or become <br />aware of as the Work is being prosecuted, <br />and shall aid in the preservation <br />and salvage program decided upon, as may be <br />requested or ordered by <br />the Owner. <br />No Work which the Contractor considers to <br />1 <br />be Extra Work shall be <br />performed <br />without the written authorization of the <br />Owner. <br />t� <br />11 <br />N <br />to <br />1 <br />is <br />1 <br />Is <br />13.6.3 The Owner shall have the right to restrict or suspend the Contrac- <br />tor's operations in the immediate area where historical objects are dis- <br />covered for a period not to exceed 72 hours, without claim being made by the <br />Contractor for any damages he might suffer as a result ther,.of.
