County Road_ No. 15 - Minnesota Department
of
Transportation's Variances Board met on Friday, June
14,
1985, to consider among other things the County's request
for variance on County 15 between County 110 anu County
19.
Present in support of the variance in addition to Hent
n
County was Commissioner Bud Robb, and representatives
m
Mound, Spring Park, Orono and the Westonka Chamber
o•f
Commerce. Subsequent to the hearing the Variance Board
has
asked the County for additional information plus desires
to
have a bus tour of the area within the next month.
The
County is arranging that and will be informing us when those
arranr, nents are made. Following that it is expected that
we should know within 4 to 6 weeks as to whether
the
varianc has been approved or not.
#31. Administrative Hearing - Administrative hearing regarding
al le,ed sale to minor was heard on Tuesday, June 18, 1985,
and based on that hearing it was determined that no
violation of the City personnel rules occured and that no
disciplinary action was therefore needed
#32. 130 Cygnet Place - The formal complaint has been signed by
the judge and is going forward in the appropriate legal
aroCPss.
4 "3_.. .. -:95 Casco Point Road - The owner of the property has been
pumping the water for the place during this entire past week
and apparently this is eliminating the water problem. Our
inspector has reviewed the bearing wall that was standing in
the water and feels that it's structural integrity was not
impaired. Staff again reconfirmed the fact that they felt
the primary cause of water was due to the break in the ti le
1 ine and the bulk of the problem should be remedied by
rerouting that line. As for drainage on the property the
builder has ir. licated that he has contracted with Carl
Widmer to do the drainage pl - in accordance with the plan
approved by the City Enginee, t was also indicated he was
to start work this week. Abs-L..t that work being commenced
today (based on weather) the City may tag as the contractor
has passed one of the deadlines established. Additionally a
deadline of next Friday was established for completion of
the work on the property.
134.
