Non -conforming structures within 0-75' of lakeshore where house portion <br />of lot is divided by roads from dock and lakeshore yard. <br />In the past Council had recommended lock boxes for security purposes <br />for such properties for staff use when questioned by residents (North Shore <br />Drive lots east of Baldur Park road and Norton property on Stubbs Bay). <br />Standards suggested for each box - 4 foot height and not to exceed 20 <br />square feet in area. <br />a. Does Council wish to address each user via a conditional use <br />permit/variance application? <br />b. Does Council wish to amend the ordinance to permit lock boxes <br />built to approved standards within lakeshore yards of lots divided by <br />roads? <br />C. Replacement of Non -Conforming Structure Within 75 Feet of Lake <br />The current ordinance would required that Mr. Spence file a formal <br />conditional use permit with the City to permit major structural changes to <br />existing structures. <br />Fee Alternatives: <br />a) Adopt an abbreviated review procedure for minor items at a <br />reduced fee. <br />It is our recommendation to stay at present schedule as in <br />addition to staff time it requires the following costs: <br />
