^F GRU50. P:NNESOTA. CONTRACT EMPLOYEE AGREEMENT The City of Orono. Minnescta. hereinafter referred to as Employer, and Walter R. Benson. hereinafter referred to as Contract Employee. agree to all the terms of employment as described in this contract employee agreement. . 1. Compensation Package. Fmplover agrees to provide the following compensation package: (a) Salary of 3330.00 per month, payable during the first week"of the month, or at such other times as the carries acree, or such amount as agreed upon by Employer and Contract Employee. (b) Health and life insurance with the total cost to be deducted from the Contract Employee's salary. Should the total cost exceed the amount of the monthly salary. the Contrac= Employee will reimburse the Employer for the d:ffererce by the 15th of the month. (c) Contributions co the P.:blic Employees Retirement Fund. 2. Contract Employee's Duties. Contract Employee agrees to devote his best efforts on a time available basis to act as a consultant as specifically directed by the City Administrator or Mayor. The Contract Employee agrees to observe the policies and procedures of the Employer and to conduct himself in a manner and demeanor consistent with the requirements of the position. 3. Duration of Employment. The employment relationship between the parties shall begin January 26. 1985, and shall extend for a period of seventy-five (75) months, ending April 26, 1991. 4. Employment Terminable. The Contract Employee shall have the option of terminating this agreement at will upon five (5) working days' written notice, with the balance of the monthly payment`s�tobe payable in a lump sum within sixty (60) days.
