Attorney's Report on Electric Franchises: Glenn <br />Purdue reported that a questionnaire had been sent out to <br />SRA members inquiring about the status of their franchises <br />with the electric utilities serving them. He reported that 16 <br />members had responded and gave a summary of the status of <br />their franchises. He indicated that he expects efforts to <br />be resumed in the near future to negotiate a proposed <br />uniform electric franchise. He solicited suggestions from SW, <br />members as to matters which they regard as of primary concern <br />to them in their electric franchises. He indicated that <br />Fred Moore of Plymouth, Fran Hoffman of Edina and Graydon <br />Boeck of Brooklyn Park had agreed to serve as members of a <br />negotiating committee to assist in the development of a <br />proposed uniform franchise. <br />-4- <br />
