private property owned by Mr. John Wambecke for access to the <br />pro3ect. <br />The engineer advised the Board that easements over only <br />four parcels will need to be submitted to the condemnation <br />commissioners for determination of value. The engineer advised <br />that hearings were scheduled to commence January 28, 1985. <br />Water Maintenance and Repair Fund Project Status <br />The engineer reviewed a memorandum dated January 10, <br />1985 regarding the status of various water maintenance and repair <br />fund matters. <br />The engineer reviewed the request of the City of Long <br />Lake for payment of additional costs incurred by the City in <br />constructing a sedimentation basin. The engineer explained that <br />the amount of the additional request was $3,460 in addition to the <br />$7,500 previously committed by the Board. Following discussion, <br />it was moved by Andre, seconded by Carroll, that the $7,500 be <br />approved for payment at this time and that the balance of $3,460 <br />be hele and reviewed by the Board in connection with other <br />requests for funding from the dater Maintenance and Repair Fund. <br />Upon vote the motion carried. <br />Project CP-e Creek Cndnnel Improvement <br />City of Edina/Cascade Lane <br />The engineer advised the Board that a contractor had <br />commenced work on Project CP-8 approximately January 8, 1985, The <br />engineer also informed the Board that a final contract has been <br />signed with the Minnesota Department of Transportation whereby the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation would fund up to a maximum <br />of S3U,000 of the pro)ect cost. <br />Adiournment <br />There being no further business to come before the <br />regular meeting, Chairman Cochran declared the meeting adjourned <br />at 9:10 p.m. <br />U231n <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />John E.
