2 <br />Westonka Community Services is offering this winter. The classes <br />are developed by Camp Fire, Inc. of Minneapolis. They will train <br />staff to teach the classes. The classes teach younger children <br />self reliance and emergency procedures. A MOTION was made by Robin <br />Hoseth, SECONDED by Mary Gerding that we try and offer both classes <br />for our regular program and classes for special populations, too. <br />The MOTION CARRIED. <br />Office EqE u_imen tt <br />Toni reported that we are in the need of two new chairs for our office. <br />A MOTION was made by Mary Gerding, SECONDED by Tim Hultmann that we <br />purchase two new chairs. The MOTION CARRIED. <br />Woods Academy <br />Toni reported on the meeting that she had with the Director of Wuods <br />Academy. They want Orono Community Education to continue handling <br />building permits for outside groups that want to use the Maple Plain <br />School and grounds. A MOTION was made by Tim Hultmann, SECONDED by <br />Mary Gerding that community education continue to handle the permits <br />for the Maple Plain School and grounds. The MOTION CARRIED. <br />Next Meeting Date <br />e next meeting date was set at Thursday, March 21, 1985 at 7:30 pm. <br />A MOTION was made by Roger Hackbarth, SECONDED by Nancy Shaver to adjourn <br />at 8:50 pm.
