The Engineer stated that the District's <br />concerns have been addressed in connection with this application <br />and reccmmended approval. It was moved by Carroll, seconded by <br />Andre that the application be approved as recommended by the <br />Engineer. Upon vote the motion carried. <br />City of Excelsior - rip -rap shoreline erosion pt otection and <br />maintenance dredging, Sec. 34AA, western shore of Excelsior Bay, <br />Excelsior Commons Park. 84-195 <br />The Engineer reviewed the application of the City of <br />Excelsior for placement of rip -rap and maintenance dredging. The <br />Fngineer explained that this project constituted a continua+ in of <br />the project at the Excelsior Commons previously undertaken .!IQ <br />City and recommended approval as submitted. It was moved t <br />Andre, seconded by Thomas that the application be approved a. <br />recommended by the Engineer. Upon vote the motion carried. <br />Correspondence <br />The following items of correspondence were noted: <br />1. Letter from the City Attorney, City of Minnetonka, <br />dated November 28, 1984, to the Minnesota Municipal Board <br />petitioning the Board for annexation of certain land owned by <br />Minnetonka but located within the City of Wayzata. <br />2. A communication from Kay Mitchell, Clerk of the <br />htnnepin County Board of Commissioners dated November 26, 1984 <br />transmitting information on appointments to be made by the <br />Hennepin County Board during 1985. <br />3. Notice of Public Hearing fr,,m Hennepin County on <br />the County's hazardous waste ordinance dated November 29, 1984. <br />Annual Meetings/Minnesota Association of Watershed Districts, Inc. <br />Mr. Cochran called on Managers Mcwethy and Andre to report <br />on the annual meeting of the Association held on November <br />30-December 1, 1984.
