Include all persons living in the housing unit for at least nine <br />(9) months of the year and who do not pay rent. <br />GROSS ANNUAL INCOME LIMITS <br />1 Person <br />$13,500.00 <br />5 <br />Persons <br />$17,500.00 <br />2 Persons <br />14,500.00 <br />6 <br />Persons <br />18,500.00 <br />3 Persons <br />15,500.00 <br />7 <br />Persons <br />19,500.00 <br />4 Persons <br />16,500.00 <br />8 <br />Persons <br />20,500.00 <br />For each additional person, add S1,000.00 <br />The grant administrator should be aware that non-recurr4ng types <br />of income should be included as assets rather than as income. <br />Items for inclusion under this category may include: cash sales <br />of property, receipt of one-time survivor benefits, etc. A <br />one-time sale of stock does not count as income, but rather the <br />proceeds are counted as assets. <br />Any city wanting to implement the grant program with a gross <br />annual income limit deviating from the above chart, must submit <br />in writing, an explanation of the reasons for the deviation to <br />Hennepin County for review, prior to the start of the funding <br />cycle. <br />2. Gross annual income includes: <br />a. Any public assistance, includinq, but not limited to: <br />welfare, AFDC, SSI, and unemployment compensation. <br />b. Salaries (including commissions, bonuses, overtime pay, and <br />tips). <br />c. Alimony and/or child support. <br />d. Interest and dividends. <br />e. Pensions and annuities, incl-j, P.E.R.A. and social <br />security. <br />f. Rental income; farm rental income. <br />g. Estate or trust income. <br />h. Business profit --for self-employed individuals, including farmers <br />and child care/babysitting. <br />i. Gains from the sale of property. <br />j. Interest payment received from properties being sold on <br />contracts for deed. <br />k. Partnership. <br />1. Personal and/or business loans <br />m. Miscellaneous income. <br />Gross annual income is the income derived from all sources before <br />tax or withholding, of all members of the family living in a <br />housing unit (including individual non -related adults) for at <br />least nine (9) months of the year and who do not pay rent. <br />3. Gross annual income shall be based upon annualized weekly or <br />monthly income as of date of verification. <br />10 <br />
