4.13.7 Where equipment requiring different arrangement Df connections <br />from those shown is approved, it shall be the responsibility of the <br />Contractor to install the equipment so as to allow for proper operation <br />and in harmony with the intent of the Drawings and Specifications, and to <br />make all changes in the work required by the different arrangement of <br />connections. <br />4.13.8 Product Data shall be promptly submitted by the Contractor after <br />he has reviewed, checked and approved the data to determine if they are in am <br />harmony with the requirements of the Project and with the provisions of <br />the Contract Documents and after he has verified all field measurements <br />and construction criteria, materials, catalog numbers and similar data. s� <br />In submitting the Product Data, the Contractor certifies that the work <br />represented by the data has been coordinated with the Contract Documents <br />and all relevant field conditions. <br />A <br />SECTION 5 <br />ENGINEER -OWNER -CONTRACTOR RELATIONS <br />5.1 ENGINEER'S STATUS AND AUTHORITY <br />Engineer will be Owner's representative during the construction period. The <br />duties and responsibilities and the limitations of authority of Engineer as "1 <br />Owner's representative during construction are set forth in the Contract <br />Documents and shall not be extended without written consent of Owner and <br />Engineer. The Engineer's duties and limitations include: <br />5.1.1 Engineer will make visits to the site at intervals appropriate to " <br />the various stages of construction to observe the progress and cuality of <br />the executed Work and to determine, in general, if the Work is proceeding <br />in accordance with the Contract Documents. Engineer will not be required <br />to make exhaustive or continuous on -site inspections to check the quality <br />or quantity of the Work. Engineer's efforts will be directed toward <br />providing for Owner a ,preater degree of confidence that the completed Work <br />will conform to the Contract Documents. On the basis of such visits and <br />on -site observations as an experier.ced and qualified design professional, <br />Engineer will keep Owner in`ormed of the progress of the Work and will <br />endeavor to guard Owner against defects ane deficiencies in the Work. , <br />5.1.2 Engineer will issue with reasonable promptness such written <br />clarifications or interpretations of the Contract Documents (in the form <br />of Drawings or otherwise) as Engineer may determine necessary, which shall <br />be consistent with er reasonably inferable from the overall intent of the 4 <br />Contract Documents.
