This should include pricing <br />for collection on the same day citywide. Please explain how the following factors would affect <br />your pricing: <br />• Bi-Weekly Collection (Factor 1) Recycling is currently picked up every other week <br />on the same day. If your proposed schedule is different, explain the price impact. <br />• Revenue Sharing (Factor 2) If the city shares in the revenue from recyclable <br />materials (after processing costs), explain how this would change your pricing. <br />• Weekly Pickup (Factor 3) If the city chooses weekly instead of every other week <br />collection, explain the pricing difference. <br />• Organics Collection (Factor 4) If you're interested in offering subscription -based <br />curbside organics recycling, include a proposal and pricing impact. <br />SERVICES <br />RECYCLING SERVICES <br />WHAT'S COLLECTED <br />The contractor must collect the following recyclable items from all homes: <br />• Newspapers, magazines, catalogs, office/school paper, and mail <br />• Cardboard and paperboard (e.g., cereal and shoe boxes) <br />• Glass bottles and jars <br />• Metal cans (food and beverage) <br />• Plastic containers #1—#5 (e.g., soda bottles, milk jugs, detergent bottles) <br />• Aseptic containers (like juice boxes) and phonebooks <br />• You may also include plastics #6 (styrofoam) and #7 (mixed materials if your company <br />accepts them. <br />The city may need additional services, based on local needs or Hennepin County rules.
