REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL <br />ORGANIZED CURBSIDE RESIDENTIAL SINGLE -SORT <br />RECYCLING COLLECTION SERVICES <br />Contract Approval (City Council) September 22 <br />Service Begins October 1 <br />INSTRUCTIONS <br />Proposals must be received by the city no later than August 24. Proposals may be submitted by <br />email, mail, or in person. If submitting by email, use the subject line: "Proposal for Recycling <br />Service." Late proposals cannot be accepted. The city will review all proposals and may choose to <br />interview selected finalists. <br />Do not contact any City Council members about this RFP or your proposal. This is to ensure a fair <br />and impartial process. Proposal data will be protected and maintained following Minn. Stat. 13.591, <br />Subd. 3(b). Only the names of the companies that submit proposals will be made public before the <br />contract is awarded. All proposal details will remain confidential until the City Council selects a <br />contractor and authorizes a contract. <br />PROPOSAL <br />To be considered, each proposal must explain clearly how your company would carry out the <br />recycling services requested and include the following information: <br />Include the title of the proposal, your company name, address, phone number, main contact person, <br />date, and a table of contents that lists all sections and page numbers for easy navigation. <br />QUALIFICATIONS <br />Your company should have strong experience with residential recycling collection. Include: <br />• Name, address, phone number, and email of the person who will manage the recycling <br />services for Orono. <br />• A copy of your business licenses and/or any certifications. <br />• Background on your company, how long you've been in business, number of employees, and <br />office details. <br />REFERENCES <br />• Provide at least three references from public clients (like cities or counties). <br />Page 5 of 27 <br />37 <br />
