c. The Village Park and Recreational Director <br />shell designate properly post those <br />areas in public :6, narks and beaches <br />where horses may �e ridden and driven. <br />d. Every_person riding a horse or driving <br />a horse drawn vehicle upon a public road- <br />way shall be subject to those provisions <br />of the Village Code applicable to the ' <br />driver of a motor vehicle, except those <br />provisions which by their nature have <br />no application. <br />e. No person shall interfere with any horse <br />being ridden, driven or kept in a lawful <br />manner. <br />110.90. Livestock Commission. The Village Council <br />hereby authorizes the esta ishment of a Livestock Commission <br />to assist the village Clerk in inspection of the premises <br />of those seeking a horse permit, to receive complaints from <br />those aggrieved by animal owners or keepers, to investigate <br />complaints, to advise animal owners against whom complaints <br />have been lodged and to advise the 'tillage Council as to <br />appropriate action. <br />The Village Council shall appoint three persons to the <br />Livestock Commission, including, when possible, a repre- <br />sentative of the largest local horse -oriented association <br />or club, a veterinarian, and any other person the Village <br />Council feels is qualified to serve. Each member shall <br />serve a two year term without compensation and shall be <br />eligible for reappointment at the end of that term. <br />The Livestock Commission shall make recommendations to <br />the Village Council on requests or other matters re- <br />quiring Council action, which arise under this Chapter <br />or other applicable Ordinances or Statutes. <br />110.100. Cruelty to Animals. Minnesota Statutes <br />346.21-346.26 relating to cruelty to animals are hereby <br />adopted and incorpora'ed herein by reference and made a <br />part hereof. <br />110.110. Violations. Every person convicted of a <br />violation of any o t e provisions of this ordinance <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine <br />of not more than $300.00 or by imprisonment for a period <br />of not more than 90 days or both, but in either case the <br />costs of prosecution may be added.. <br />Section 2. The Municipal Code of the Village of <br />Orono is amended by amending Section 34.037 as follows: <br />
