A private driveway outlot is required to be platted 30' in width, with a 16' <br />improved surface width. <br />Front lot/back lot subdivisions require lots without access to a road be 150% of the zoning district <br />requirements. Therefore, the new lot at the end of the point must be at least three-fourths of one acre <br />in size. I have included the front lot/back lot subdivision standards. <br />If the private driveway concept is approved by the City further review of the driveway ingress/egress <br />at the end of the point should be reviewed by the City of Orono and Long Lake Fire Department to <br />ensure adequate space to accommodate emergency vehicles on site. <br />I have previously provided for you subdivision application materials and the list of required <br />application submittals. The next application deadline for a Sketch Plan Review with the Planning <br />Commission is noon, December 19, 2001. Once a complete application is received you will be <br />scheduled for the next available meeting.
