Frahm stepped down due <br />to a possible conflict of interest. It was <br />noted that due to staff error the neighbors had <br />not been notified. Discussion was regarding <br />the events behind the construction of the <br />retaining walls and the intention of placing <br />a deck on the lower level. Jim Olson, city <br />engineer, stated that if a spaced wood deck was <br />c:,nstrutted over a gravel subbase, the runoff <br />water filtration would be adequate if not better <br />than the existing runoff. Hurr moved to table <br />this item to allow site inspection by members <br />and to allow staff to notify neighbors. In order <br />to avoid any delay to the applicant this item <br />will be on the Planning Commission agenda for <br />action on September 25, 1978 and on the Council <br />agenda September 26, 1978. Motion seconded by <br />Hannah. Vote: Ayes (5), Nays (0). Motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Anderson was present. The Planning Commission <br />briefly reviewed the request. It was noted that <br />due to staff error the neighbors had not been <br />notified. Hassel moved to table this item to <br />allow staff to notify neighbors and to provide <br />the applicant time to furnish a revised plan <br />for the proposed deck as the plan he had differed <br />from the plan originally submitted with the <br />�+ application. McDonald seconded the motion. <br />Vote: Ayes (6), Nays (0). Motion passed <br />unanimously.
