ORDINANCE N0. 2 O 1 <br /> AN ORDINANCE TO AT�ND TI-� MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> OF ORONO BY ATIINDING TI-IE OFFICIAL ZONING <br /> MAP OF TI-iE CITY OF ORONO BY REZOr1ING <br /> BLOCK 1, I-�ERRICK CIRCLE SUBDIVISION, <br /> SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 118, RANGE 23, FROM <br /> RR-1B TO R-lA <br /> The City Colmcil of the City of Orono Ordains: <br /> Section 1. The municipal code of the City of Orono is amended by <br /> amending the official zoning map and boundaries for portions of the RR-1B One <br /> Family Rural Residential District to R-lA One Family Residential District. <br /> The following described property is hereby rezoned from RR-1B to <br /> R-lA. <br /> That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the <br /> Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Qua.rter of Section 36, Township <br /> 118, Range 23, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the <br /> East line of said Southwest Quarter distant 57 feet Southerly of <br /> as measured at right angles from the center line of the main track <br /> of the Minneapolis Industrial Railway Company as now located and <br /> established; thence South along said East line to a point distant <br /> 283.23 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter <br /> of the Southwest Qua.rter; thence South 19 degrees 40 minutes West a <br /> distance of 138.06 feet; thence South 27 degrees 40 minutes West to <br /> the center line of the South Minneapolis and Watertown Road, also <br /> called the Wayzata Long Lake Road; thence Northwesterly along said <br /> center line to its intersection with a line drawn parallel with and <br /> 57 feet Southerly of, as measured at rig�t angles from, the center <br /> line of said main tra.ck; thence Northeasterly along said parallel <br /> line to the point of beginning. For purposes of this description <br /> the East line of said Southwest Qua.rter is asstmied to be a due <br /> North and South line. <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall be published in the Lake Minnetonka S�.m <br /> and shall be effective upon publication. <br /> Passed by the Orono Council this 11 day of october , ig'77, by a <br /> vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> William B.
