Upon application, as set forth in Section 69A. 030, the <br /> applicant authorizes the City of Orono to enter on the property <br /> at any time for purposes of making safety and code compliance <br /> inspections. Prior to issuance of any license or renewal, the <br /> City inspector or an expert engineer appointed by the City <br /> � shall inspect the ski area' s equipment and total facilities <br /> for compliance with the provisions set forth in this chapter. <br /> Notice shall be given to the ski area manager prior to a <br /> scheduled inspection and he shall thereafter assist the <br /> inspector where necessary to test the operation of any equip- <br /> ment or safety devices, and to allow access to all parts of <br /> the facilities. A report of every inspection shall be sub- <br /> mitted to the City Clerk with a copy to the ski area manager. <br /> Any deficiencies or non-compliance shall be noted therein and <br /> shall be corrected by the ski area operator within a reason- <br /> able time. Equipment or public areas found to be hazardous <br /> or to have safety deficiencies shall be immediately stopped, <br /> roped-off, or otherwise removed from use until the hazard or <br /> deficiency shall have been corrected. In all cases, all <br /> safety hazards must be corrected prior to issuance of any sub- <br /> sequent license or operating permit. <br /> 69A.060. Transfer of License. Any license issued pur- <br /> suant to this chapter shall be transferred only upon approval <br /> of the City Council. Application for such transfer shall be <br /> in writing, conforming in all respects with the provisions of <br /> this chapter governing the filing of an original application. <br /> Said application for transfer shall be accompanied by a Transfer <br /> Fee as provided by the current City fee schedule. <br /> 69A.070. Insurance. Each licensee shall maintain public <br /> liability insurance in an amount of not less than $300, 000 per <br /> person per incident for injury or death. Such insurance shall <br /> be continuously maintained throughout the operating season. A <br /> current certificate of insurance must be filed with the City <br /> before an operating permit will be issued. <br /> 69A.080. Revocation. The Council may revoke or suspend <br /> any license or permit issued under this chapter upon the finding <br /> of the City Council that there has been a violation of any of <br /> the provisions of this chapter or other applicable statutes or <br /> regulations, or a failure to abide by any of the conditions of <br /> this license or any other permits granted under the Municipal <br /> Code. Specifically included herein is failure to correct, <br /> within a reasonable time, any safety deficiencies as may be <br /> reported by the expert engineer in his report. <br />
