Conducting interviews of interested candidates for the <br />vacancy on the Planning Commission. <br />Issue 2. Selecting an individual to fill the vacancy created by <br />the resignation of naul--plor. <br />Issue 3. Review of designati .,s to see if persons currently on <br />the _�lanning Commission need to have designations changed in <br />order to meet the guidelines setforth in Attachment D. <br />IN4110DUC_TION - With the resignation of Paul Taylor, who has beer <br />a r 6:a1 repres-nta`{v•:: can the Planning Commission, the City staff <br />was directed in the paper together with sending <br />letters to ;.hose whu last vcar had indicated an interest in the <br />Planning Commission '`,,x;ethc with Park Commission members. <br />Additionally as nott-d in A'. tachement D the Council had adopted an <br />ordinance for the apl,: r tment of Planning Commission that related <br />not only to "Rural" (2), "At Large" (2) and "Urban" (2) <br />designations but also to "Lake" res,.ience (1). Currently the <br />only "Urban" representative is Jeff Johnson. <br />DISCUSSION - <br />Issue 1. - Attachment B is appended to provide a format for the <br />interview of each of the randidates who have indicated an <br />interest. <br />ts4ue 2. - Selection - The Council, following interviews, will <br />n-ed to apprint an individual for Planning commission based not <br />cm Iv rn the persons oral presentation but also the needs as they <br />9 <br />
