MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD MARCH 14, 1988 <br />#1244 DALE C. PALM <br />1710 SHADYWOOD ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />DENIAL RESOLUTION <br />Acting City Administrator Gerhardsor stated that the <br />applicants could not attend this meeting and have <br />requested the application be tabled at this time. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sine, seconded by <br />Councilmember Goetten, to table Application #1244. <br />Moition, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />#1246 WALTER WHITE <br />1100 OLD CRYSTAL BAY ROAD SOUTH <br />PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION <br />RESOLUTION #2380 <br />Mr. & Mrs. Walter White were present fcr this matter. <br />Acting City Administrator Gerhardson explained the <br />proposed two lot division of a 25+ acre homestead parcel <br />in a rural area. The property is sewered and will have <br />a shared access. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Sime, to adopt Resolution #2380 approving <br />the Prel.Lminary Subdivision as proposed. Motion, Ayes <br />5, Nays 0. <br />4BETZ BUILDERS, INC./CLEMENT C. KROLL <br />60/100 STUBBS BAY ROAD <br />ROAD NAME REQUEST <br />It was mo, ed by Counci lmer:ber Sime, seconded by Mayor <br />Grabek, to approve the plat road name of "Christine <br />Drive" for Betz Builders Inc./Clemont C. Kroll. Motion, <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />MAYOR'S REPORT: <br />APPOINTMENT OF PLANNING COMMISSION CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR <br />Mayor Grabek reviewed the recommendation to re -appoint <br />Charles Kelley as Chair and Maureen Bellows as Vice <br />Chair to the Planning Commission due to the fact that <br />the balance of the members have served a minimal amount <br />of time on the Commission. <br />Planning Commissioner Cohen stated the recommendation <br />was agreeable to the Planninc Commission. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Counci lmember Peterson, to appoint Charles Kel ley as <br />Chair and Maureen Bellows as Vice Chair of the Planning <br />Commission from March 1988 to March 1989.
