MINUTES Ok THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD MARCH 14, 1988 <br />APPOINTMENT OF PLANNING COMMISSION CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR CONTINUED <br />Cohen noted that the Planning Commission is short one <br />member at this time and recommended appointment of <br />another member as soon as possible. <br />Acting City Administrator Gerhardson noted that staff is <br />working on submitting a list of interested applicants to <br />fill the vacancy created by Paul Taylor's resignation. <br />Councilmember Goetten recommended placing a notice of <br />the vacancy on the Planning Commission in the paper. <br />Council commended Planning Commission for their <br />extensi a volunteer time serving on the Commission. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />HAZARDOUS BUILDING PROCEEDINGS - <br />2339 OLIVE AVENUE - RESOLUTION #2381 <br />3017 NORTH SHORE DRIVE - RESOLUTION #2382 <br />3960 SIXTH AVENUE NORTH - RESOLUTION #2383 <br />525 TONRAWA ROAD - RESOLUTION #2384 <br />Acting City Administrator <br />following four properties for <br />building proceedings: <br />Gerhardson reviewed the <br />commencement of hazardous; <br />2339 Olive Avenue -Single Family dwelling - The owner <br />has indicated plans to remove the building. Staf f 1 <br />recommends adopting the Hazardous Bui l._';ng resolution j <br />and hold in abeyance until June 1, 19R8. l <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember' <br />Goetten, to adopt Resolution 02381 Ordering Abatement of <br />Hazardous Building Action at 2339 Alive Avenue, subject <br />to holding the action in abeyance until June 1,1988.1 <br />Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />3017 North Shore Drive -Greenhouse - The owner has! <br />indicated plans to remove the building as soon as <br />weather permits.
