City of OR ONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />PER MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.20, SUBDIVISION 3 (C) <br />FILE #1235 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono, a municipal corporation (hereinafter <br />"the applicant") is the owner of the property located at 265 Orono Orchard <br />Road South within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally <br />described as follows: <br />Property Identification Number: 02-117 22 0007 <br />That part of the North 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 2, Township <br />117, Range 23 lying Westerly of Orono Orchard Road and lying South of <br />a line beginning at a point on the center line of said road 157 feet <br />Southeasterly from the center line of the main track of the Chicago <br />Northwestern Railroad thence Southwesterly 647 feet parallel with said <br />center line of the main track thence Southwesterly to the intersection <br />of the Southeasterly right-of-way line of said railroad with the West <br />line of said section '2 and there ending also that part of the South <br />1/2 of said Northwest 1/4 lying Westerly of Orono Orchard Road and <br />lying North of a line beginning at a point on the West line of sa.i_d <br />South 1/2 a distance of 400 feet South from the Northwest corner <br />thereo` thence East parallel with the North line of said South 1/2 to <br />a p( int 176 feet West from the East line of the Southwest 1/4 of the <br />Northwest 1/4 of Section 2 thence Southeasterly to a point in said <br />Fast line 520.7 feet South from the Northeast corner of said Southwest <br />1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 and there ending, all in Hennepin County, <br />Minnesota (hereinafter "property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied for a Conditional Use Permit <br />to permit the installation of an accessory structure, 861 s.f., at the <br />Orono Golf Course per Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.20, Subdivision 3 <br />(C). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE JT RESOLVED by the City Counc 1 of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as 'Zoning File #1235. <br />2. The property is located in the RR-lB Single Family Rural <br />Residential Zoning District. <br />3. on December 2'. ► 1987, the Orono Planning Commission rev: awed the <br />application as proposed and recommended approval based on the <br />following findings: <br />A) Structure is 864 s.f. in area ratifying the allowe 1 LOCO <br />s.f. area allowance for accessory structures in resit-nt.ial <br />zones. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
