CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 7604 <br />A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE PLAT OF <br />GREEN HAVEN FARM <br />FILE NO. LA24-000069 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter "City Council") has <br />adopted subdivision and land development regulations for the orderly, economic, and safe <br />development of land within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Eva Kotilinek (hereinafter the "Developer") represents Barry and Robin <br />O'Rourke, the owners of the property addressed 2300 6t" Avenue North within the City of Orono <br />(hereinafter the "City") and legally described as: <br />All that part of the southwest quarter (sw 114) of Section Twenty -Seven (27), <br />Township One Hundred Eighteen (118), Range Twenty -Three (23), beginning at the <br />quarter section post of the southwest and northwest Quarters of said Section <br />Twenty -Seven (27); thence running South on the Section line 36.3 perches to the <br />Minneapolis and Fort Ridgely Road; thence along said road North 89 118 degrees <br />east and 60.2 perches; thence Due North 33.1 perches to the quarter section line of <br />the northwest and southwest quarter of said section; and thence along said quarter <br />section line 60 114 perches to the place of beginning, except the West 300 feet <br />thereof and except roads, according to the Government survey thereon, Hennepin <br />County, Minnesota (Doc. No. 5993396) (hereinafter the "Property"); <br />WHEREAS on July 16, 2024, the Developer applied for Preliminary Plat approval to <br />subdivide the Property into two (2) buildable lots. <br />WHEREAS, at its regular meeting on December 9, 2024, the Orono City Council <br />granted approval for the Preliminary Plat per the findings and conditions of Resolution No. 7542 <br />on the Consent Agenda by a 4 to 1 vote; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 16, 2024, the Developer applied for final plat approval. <br />The final plat application was deemed to be substantially complete on August 4, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS, the Developer has agreed to comply with all conditions of Resolution <br />No. 7542 and has completed or has agreed to complete all other requirements of the platting <br />regulations of the City. <br />103 <br />
