OVERDEVELOPMENT
At the June Planning Meeting we objected to the development
of wetlands and presented a plat showing the distribution of
wetlands and existing drainage patterns in the proposed
development. The revised Plat shows development of one less
lot than originally proposed and concentrates currently
dispersed drainage in a manner that will inevitably increase
surface drainage out of the development in a manner that is
undesirable for both adjacent property owners ?nd the general
public who have an interest in the Maxwell Ba} and French Lake
systems.
RECOMMENDATION
In an effort to remove our objections, we propose the following
modification to the subject plat. We recommend the Development
entry be outlot B and that there be a cul de sac on the high ground
between Block 2, lot 7 and Block 3, lot 3. This will leave the
d::ainaga pattern in tact with respect to Farview. This
will ellminatc: E ve of the concentration of additional water
volumes shc:`n by the drains and roads on the revised Plat.
This will also eliminate the intersection witn Fox Street. It. this
regard, let 4 of Block 3 is currently connected to Fox Stree-. with
a driveway. There is no reason this should change. This
modification will reduce the amount of roadway required on the
development and reduce the surface drainage problems as v as
development costs.
Thank you for your consideration of these recommendations. Please
contact me if additional discussion is desired.
Very truly yours,
n
Farview Hom6 Owners A sociation
