Mabusth advised
Johnson that the COL:icil would be obliged to act in favor c`_ a
private: road to avoid setting a precedent. Planning Commissioner
Cohen informed Johnson that he preferred not to amend his motion.
Johnson stated that the only variance involved with this
application is on the part of the City. Mabusth said that the City calculated
hardcover to be 32% as cpposed to 26.1% as shown by applicant's
surveyor. Mabusth noted that the City's calculations included 24
s.f. of stairway.
Mr. Copley stated that he did not receive the City's
information and did not accept the City's calculations. He said
that he did not understand how there could such a d.'.fference.
Chairman Kelley suggested tabling this matter to allow Mr.
Copley an opportunity to review the hardcover calculations with
the City staff.
