A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />VARIANCES TO <br />MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.25, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) AND <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 2 <br />F1 .LE #1451 <br />WHEREAS, George & Theresa Bloom (hereinafter "the <br />applicants") are the owners of the property located at 1374 Rest <br />Point Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and <br />legally described as Lot 1, Block 1, Rest Point, Hennepin County, <br />Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the Cam: for a <br />variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivi::.' on 2 <br />to allow the construction of an attached garage resulting in an <br />increase of 660 square feet of structural hardcover within the <br />75-250' setback area with the simultaneous removal of 45 square <br />feet of non-structural hardcover within the 0-75' setback area <br />and 598 square feet of non-structural hardcover in the 75-250' <br />setback area resulting in a final total of 38.6% of hardcover on <br />the property, and per Section 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B) seeks <br />approval of a 32' street setback for the garage where a 35' <br />setback is required resulting in a 3' or 8% setback variance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />Orono, Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1.
