Much of the existing heavy <br />vegetation that surrounds the lakeshore banks will provide the <br />necessary screening for the walls that will be exposed to the <br />lakeside. <br />Options of Action <br />Denial - If denied, Planning Cor.mission should refer to Section <br />10.08 Subd. 3 and Section 10.09 Subd. 6 for the necessary <br />findings for denial. <br />Approval - If approved the following -onditi.ons must be <br />considered: <br />1. Based on Engineer's report the following will be required: <br />A. Retaining ,calls shall be built prior to any <br />landscaping work within the wall, so that wall can act <br />as protective zone from erosion or damage to the <br />exterior banks along the lake. <br />B. Material banked against the outside of the wall <br />should be of a cohesive nature and stabilization fabric <br />should be used within the backfill to prevent errosion. <br />Silt fence will be required at the base of fi led areas <br />where slope is steeper than 4/1. <br />C. Wall sections can not exceed the 956 ei( :ion nor <br />shall F feet of vertical wall be exposed. <br />D. Applicant's contractor/consultant in to arrange for a <br />pre -construction meeting so that an appropriate schedule <br />of inspections can be arranged curing the installation <br />of the retaining wall and drainage system. <br />E. Upon application for a building permit for the <br />retaining walls, applicant's consultants must submit <br />detailed plan on planters and the wall tie back system. <br />3 <br />
