Real Solutions. <br />January 7, 2025 <br />City of Orono <br />Attn: Adam Edwards <br />PO Box 66 <br />Orono, MN 55323 <br />RE: Hackberry Park Revitalization- Design Services <br />Dear Adam: <br />2638 Shadow Lane <br />Suite 200 <br />Chaska, MN 55318-1172 <br />Ph: (9521 448-8838 <br />Fax: (9521 448-8805 <br />Balton-Menk.com <br />As requested, we have prepared a scope of services and fee estimate to develop plans and specifications <br />for improvements to Hackberry Park. <br />Proposed Scope of Services <br />To assist the city with this improvement project, Bolton & Menk proposes the following scope of <br />services: <br />Project Management.............................................................................................. $19,000 <br />The tasks associated with Project Management will include: <br />• Kick-off meeting (1 total): in -person meeting with desired city representation and Bolton & <br />Menk, Inc. staff to confirm project scope, timeline, and deliverables; Bolton & Menk to prepare <br />meeting agenda and compile notes summarizing discussion. <br />• Coordination meetings (up to 5): Ongoing progress updates and design coordination <br />• Utility coordination meeting (1 total) <br />• Watershed coordination meeting (up to 2) <br />• Shelter/Restroom design coordination: Coordination with prefabricated building manufacturer <br />to finalize structure design to be included in construction plan set. Coordination of site design <br />and utility requirements. <br />Survey........................................................................................................................ $8,500 <br />Survey work to include the following items: <br />• Capture topographic survey for the entire Hackberry Park and existing right-of-way. Survey <br />work to include extents necessary to tie into the existing pavement at Willow Drive. <br />• It is anticipated that this project will leverage existing topographic mapping and new <br />coordinates and elevations collected through this effort. <br />Permitting Assistance................................................................................................ $7,000 <br />Bolton & Menk will work with city staff to identify and complete the necessary permits. <br />• Wetland delineation & report. <br />• City plumbing and building permits <br />• Department of Public Health <br />Boltun & Menk Is an equal opportunity employer <br />43 <br />
