with the acquisition of new copier. <br />- Conversion of the Recorder position to a 40 hour <br />position. <br />- Dealing with the ever increasing health insurance <br />premiums. <br />- Having all employees attend a Sexual Harassment seminar. <br />MAJOR GOAL AREAS - The City made significant progress in a number <br />of areas that it had identified in the strategic plan: <br />- Stubbs Bay Sewer Project - Completed the prerequisite <br />septic system analysis, which involved over 200 staff <br />hours to prepare, together with exploring financing and <br />construction options to make it a viable project. <br />- 1989 Budget Guidelines - Introduction of these <br />guidelines and review by the Council in advance of the <br />actual budget process. <br />- City Facilities - Developed the criteria for an <br />authorized analysis of thr^e sites to obtain more <br />accurate cost estimates of the alternatives. <br />- Media Communications - Continued the City's monthly <br />articles to the newspaper. <br />CONCLUSIG- - The City continues to improve its corporate identity <br />and the organizational dedication to operate in a businesslike <br />manner with the staff making increased efforts to improve <br />customer response and satisfaction.
