Determine if Council wants to order the project after <br />the appeal period. <br />Should Council decide not to proceed with the project, they <br />have the ability to cancel the assessment. <br />As far as Togo Road is concerned, staff should continue to <br />work with the residents to alleviate the problem at the most cost <br />effective way. <br />Alternatives - <br />1. Hold a public hearing. <br />2. Close a public hearing. <br />3. Continue the public hearing. <br />Issue #2 #3 - Continuation of Project <br />1. Table. <br />2. Direct that plans and specifications be accepted and bids be <br />taken. <br />3. Indicate that no further work be done on the project. <br />Issue #4 - Togo Road <br />1. Table for further discussion. <br />2. Direct staff to develop other alternatives. <br />Recommendation - <br />It is recommended that following the public hearing. Council <br />direct staff regarding continuation of the project. If Council <br />desires to continue the project, it is recommended that they <br />direct staff to take bids for the project establishing an <br />assessment hearing for the January 28, 199. Council meeting. In <br />addition, it is recommended that the Council direct staff to <br />undertake the necessary minor corrections under Togo Road to <br />assist in that project. <br />Proposed Motion; Moved by seconded by that the <br />Council, having held a public hearing, direct staff as to the <br />direction to be undertaken regarding the Navarre Heights Drainage <br />Project together with Togo Road improvements.
