Well #3 - Change Order <br />December 4, 1990 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Alternatives - <br />1.Issue tl-A Clear well clarity. <br />A) Leave as is. <br />B) Do further development in the well hole. <br />C) Install altered soft start pump controls: <br />i. 1,000 horse power, 500 g.p.m. control <br />ii. 500 g.p.m. control, 500 g.p.m. well, 1,000 g.p.m. <br />service <br />iii.500 g.p.m. well, 500 g.p.m. service, 500 g p.m, <br />controls.« <br />2. <br />3. <br />Issue #i-B Wini-er construction. <br />A) Table. <br />B) Adopt. <br />Issue #3 NSP service. <br />A) Authorize reduction. <br />B) Table for further discussion. <br />Recommendation - <br />it is recommended that the Council authorize; the slow start <br />motor for the 500 g.p.m. well, 500 g.p.m. controls as recommended <br />by the enginer as it is not anticipated that the capa : ‘ty upgrade <br />will be needed in the near term, but that having th , .^C g.p.m. <br />electrical service at this time would be appropriate. <br />Additionally, it is recommended that the winter construction <br />be authorized as it is already started. It is additionally <br />requested that the authorization for NSP be an overhead in <br />exchange for underground which is a cost reduction of about <br />$2,550.00. The net impact of the 3 changes is a $4,890.00 <br />increase. <br />Proposed Motion: Moved by seconded by that the Ccuncil <br />authorize the change order to a slow start pump controls, that <br />the authorize the change order for winter construction, and that <br />they authorize reduction for the service provided by NSP.
